Still and Still Moving (19) - Sage Rountree's Yoga for Athletes Series

Using lines from T. S. Eliot as our inspiration, we look at the interrelationship between stillness and motion in this online yoga class for athletes and anyone. Find the stillness at the center of flow, and find the movement of your breath in pulse in longer holds of poses. We begin reclining, warm up the hips and shoulders, try a few standing balances, then flow through some porch swings that bring us into delicious hip stretches. Cow-face pose with eagle-pose arms releases hip and upper back tension, and we unwind into shoulder stand and a nice savasana. (74 mins.)
