Ana Forrest
Forrest Yoga
Ana Forrest
is recognized worldwide as a pioneer in yoga and emotional healing. Born
crippled, her own life trauma and experiences — including physical abuse, drug
addiction, epilepsy and bulimia — compelled her to create Forrest Yoga and the
Forrest Yoga Educational Library. She focuses on guiding students to use
Forrest Yoga for the sacred exploration of truth, wholeness and health. Her
teaching of asana, breath and the movement of energy allow for student
epiphanies about their own experiences. She sees Forrest Yoga as a path for
students to find and clear the emotional and mental blocks that dictate and
limit their lives. In addition to yoga, Forrest has studied Native American medicine
and ceremony, homeopathy, hands-on healing, martial arts, psychotherapy and regression
therapy. She is a contributing expert for Yoga
Journal and other national wellness publications. She teaches around the
world at conferences, workshops and teacher trainings.
