It seems like such a simple solution, right?


It used to tick me off when I was encouraged to take 10 deep breaths to ward off anger or frustration. I didn’t believe that the simple act of calming and controlling my breath would help matters. It wasn't until I turned to yoga that I experienced the amazing power of breath. I began to realize that conscious, aware breathing promoted composure and calm. Now, when I experience frantic or undesirable thoughts, I know it’s time to slow down and tune into my breath.
