YogaVibes.com (www.yogavibes.com) would like to thank Sadie Nardini, Shannon Connell and Brian Williams at The Fierce Club (www.thefierceclub.com) in Soho, New York City for filming with us on September 3, 2009. This group of amazing yogis filmed three classes that will give everyone, from the beginner up to the advanced practitioner, something to choose from. These full-length, online yoga classes will be up on the YogaVibes.com site in the next couple of days!
Shannon Connell and Sadie Nardini are the co-founders of The Fierce Club. In addition, Sadie Nardini (www.sadienardini.com) is the founder of Core Strength Vinyasa Yoga. According to Sadie, "In a 60 minute Core Strength Vinyasa Yoga class, you’ll burn more calories and gain more benefits than doing 90 minutes of most regular classes. This is because you’re activating the pelvic floor muscles and the abdominals the whole time, which builds way more heat. If you let these areas go, you’ll get through the poses, but you’ll lose stamina, and drain your energy." She designed the CVS yoga system to help students gain strength in their core, not just in their arms and legs. Maybe you too can reach some of those elusive asanas that require so much core strength!
Shannon's class is more of an open-level class and is perfect for a wide range of students. In Shannon's Core Strength Vinyasa Yoga class you will work on stamina, strength, hip-opening, inversions, pranayama and more.
Brian Williams calls his class "Virgin Vinyasa," and it is designed for strong beginners. Brian will lead you through Sun Salutations and a Core Strength Vinyasa Yoga practice that focuses on core-strengthening and hip-opening.
Please join these "fierce" yogis in their core-strengthening yoga practices at YogaVibes.com!
